Alarian Pact

“Now that Thelras’s head has been parted from his body, I would hope Ionnas’s rage is sated, but the Legion cannot sit idle. Not when a change in Ionnas’s temperament is capable of plunging Valcarnum into an era of War. The Alarian Pact will ensure that the Primeborn Conclave can fairly represent their interests within in the Legion Council, and doubles as a means to deter further aggression from Ionnas and his Covenant.” ~ Algust Glenmoore

The Alarian Pact was first enacted by Algust Glenmoore after the Legion refused to comply with Ionnas Marcavius’ war on Thelras Blackmoons and the rebel Primeborn in the year 3E 16. In the aftermath of The Severance, the Legion vowed to always have a member of the ruling family of Grand Alarus sit as their Primeborn council member. This pact would strengthen the ties between the two cities, and allow the Legion to claim sovereignty over Grand Alarus. Furthermore this agreement would help to calm the tensions surrounding the death of first Alarian Thelras Blackmoons at the hands of Ionnas during the Primeborn rebellion.
