Gaia

“Oh Gaia, wash the land with your embrace so that your children may blossom. Allow the life you birth to provide for us and give us strength so that we may be the instruments of your will.“ ~Gaian prayer

Those that follow the path of Gaia are a monotheistic religious group who believe in the existence of one deity. It is difficult to gauge the popularity of this religion as it is practiced mainly in the uncivilized lands of natives and Wildborn. Its followers believe that Gaia is the creator of all things natural and that she strives to maintain the balance between her beloved creations. The specifics of her worship have diverged over time due to the isolated and scattered nature of her followers, and thus vary from region to region. Those that believe in mother Gaia value natural order and endeavor to live in harmony with nature.

Gaia: Referred to as the mother Goddess, Gaia is thought to have breathed life into the once barren world of Valcurnum. She cherishes all her creations and gently nurtures them. Natural phenomena are thought to occur when the balance between Gaia’s creations is upset and she is forced to intervene to restore order.
