Valcarnum: Drums of War
“Palamasi is the most beautiful city in all of Valcarnum, unfortunately her history is filthy, depressing, and covered in blood.” ~Lusiteria Wanderling
The city of Palamasi was built as a grand undertaking by The Primeborn Conclave in the year 2E 5297. The city was constructed precariously in the cliff face of the largest waterfall in the Kestrakai Jungle. The great difficulty of its erection was meant to showcase the extent and mastery of Primeborn command over the element of water. It was also built within the territory of the ferocious tribe of Wildborn known as the Fenaroc Horde. This infringement would lead to the Feneric storming the city not long after its completion and massacring its inhabitants. In response, the Conclave would seek revenge in the events of The Fenaroc Culling and drive the Wildborn from their homelands in Kestrakai. Palamasi was repaired and the magnificent city would prosper in the years to come.
The eventual formation of The Legion and decline of the Primeborn empire would see Palamasi gradually cut their ties with the Conclave. Palamasi’s close proximity to Wolves’ Haven has greatly influenced the political developments within the the city and it is now strongly aligned with The Covenant. Due to its historical ties, Palamasi counts many Primeborn as citizens, however the city is currently governed by the Truebreed Lord Soro Vicarus.
